Bareshot

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 October 2026

Bareshot does not collect, store, sell or share any data about you. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.

What Bareshot does with your photos

Bareshot reads the photos and videos you choose, makes a clean copy with the hidden details removed, and gives the copy back to you to share or save. All of this happens on your iPhone. Your photos are never uploaded to us or to any other server, and we have no servers that could receive them.

Photos access

Bareshot asks for access to your Photos library only so that you can pick an album to clean and save clean copies. If you only use the share sheet from the Photos app, no library access is needed. Access is used only on your device.

iCloud Photos

If a photo you pick is stored in iCloud and not on your phone, iOS may download it from your own iCloud account so Bareshot can clean it. That is a transfer between your phone and Apple. It does not pass through anything we run.

Data we collect

None. Bareshot has no analytics, crash reporting or advertising tools, and contains no third-party code that collects data. The only thing stored on your phone is a few settings (for example your presets and whether you have seen the tutorial). They stay on your phone.

Deleting originals

If you turn on Delete originals afterwards when cleaning an album, Bareshot asks iOS to delete the originals after the clean copies are saved. iOS asks you to confirm, and deleted photos stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days. This is off unless you turn it on.

Children

Bareshot collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
